Team Building Events

We create fun team building days to act as ice-breakers for recently established teams, enhance trust and communication in an already established team, or simply to offer your staff a well-earned reward.

 

Getting to know each member of the team is by far the most important aspect of 'team building'. We specialise in fun events. Making your team building event fun and memorable will establish good communication between staff and ensure your staff get to know each other outside of their usual office environment.

 

 

All our events can be tailored to suit client requirements and expectations. Here's a few examples...

Secret Agents

A fun series of team 'missions' comprising of a variety of team activities and challenges. Each mission lasts around 25 minutes and offers varying degrees of teamwork, communication and problem solving. This event is suitable for small and large groups of mixed abilities and can be run at most venues including Herm Island. New activities have been added for 2008!

NEW! Knockout Challenge

The Knockout Challenge incorporates a range of fun team challenges suitable for mixed abilities and age ranges based on an 'Its a Knockout' theme. The challenges make a perfect choice for corporate entertainment and fun team building days. The games also provide plenty of fun for spectators too! Wet and dry options available.

NEW! The Herm Photo Scavenger Hunt

Teams are issued with a set of clues, map, compass and a polaroid camera. Each clue solved, item collected, photograph taken is rewarded with a set number of points. The clues incorporate the entire Island of Herm with teams deciding which places of interest to travel to. The greater the distance travelled, the greater the reward!  

NEW! Medieval Mayhem

This event offers a series of activities including archery, wall climbing, abseiling, jousting, crate stacking, raft and catapult building. Teams rotate around all activities to ensure all ‘have a go’. This event can be run at various venues including the Vale Castle or our very own activity site located at Jerbourg, St Martins. Each event is tailored to meet client requirements and expectations.

NEW! Crystal Daze

Perfect for smaller groups. A series of physical and mental challenges to complete and collect as many crystals as possible within the time constraints. Some challenges require a team effort, others require individual skills.

Raiders of the Lost Sark

A fun team event based in the Isle of Sark. The group is divided into four or five teams and issued with a pack containing clues, equipment and a set of instructions. Teams must correctly solve clues that can be found around the Island as well as partake in various activities and puzzles to receive bonus clues and extra points.

CSI Workshops

An introduction to the day from a qualified forensic scientist. In teams of 5-6 with a lead investigator appointed to each team, delegates will rotate around four forensic sessions learning the basics of crime scene methods and protocols. Incidents can tailored to meet company requirements.

Clay Pigeon Shooting Contests

Clay pigeon shooting contests are available on both Herm Island and the Isle of Sark. Also available in Guernsey on certain dates. Ferry transfers are inclusive. Catering may also be provided by arrangement. Why not combine an early evening Herm Clay Pigeon shoot with dinner at the Captain's Table or the new Mermaid Tavern 'Black Rock Grill'? Minimum group size 12 people.

Outdoor Team Activities

A variety of land and water activities are available throughout the Bailiwick including Herm, Sark and Alderney. Activities include kayaking, wind-surfing, archery, air rifle shooting, climbing, abseiling, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, paintballing, go-karting, sea fishing and sailing. We can create a team day to meet your requirements by incorporating any of these activities.

Treasure Hunts

Contrary to belief, Treasure Hunts aren't just for kids! They create social interaction between colleagues, promote team spirit and offer a great opportunity to 'get to know each other'. Many of our clients return year after year in the knowledge that their event will be different from the rest. Our treasure hunts are based on foot around St Peter Port, Herm Island or the Isle of Sark.

Murder Mystery

Set around an evening dinner, professional actors mingle with guests during pre-dinner drinks, revealing the latest gossip and intrigue, whilst setting the scene for what may happen over dinner. Suddenly! A shot! A scream! And somebody falls dead - Before your very eyes! From then on, it's up to guests to solve the whodunit, as a series of interactive and highly entertaining scenes are performed between the courses of the meal, with the culprit being revealed over coffee. Suitable for groups of 10 - 200.

Yacht Sailing 

Boats are the perfect stage for building a team. Sailing requires communication, leadership, teamwork and trust. The crew will spend time to develop a programme that meets your business and team building objectives. Competitive 'regatta racing' in matched boats also available.
